Sunday School

We have classes for all ages from 0-100+! There are several classes for the children ranging from very young to High School. We also have three adult classes which offer diversity in Sunday school style. The Sunday School meets at 9:40 to enjoy breakfast and a time of fellowship with one another before heading off to class. Throughout the year, there are many activities in which the Sunday School Superintendent implements into the program to develop enthusiasm, for instance, we just had a pajama party during our BINGO Sunday. Other times we have had Christian T-shirt Sunday and other events

A Word from our Sunday School Superintendent

Our Sunday School program incorporates learning, applying and sharpening our skills using God's Holy Word, the Bible.  From the very youngest to the very oldest, we offer a chance to learn and apply something new every Sunday.  We enjoy fellowship, fun and the satisfaction in each other's company.  We strive to glorify God by our improved knowledge.  We have very knowledgable and capable teachers on staff as well as the love and guidance of our Pastor. Everyone has a voice in our Sunday School program.  From Bible bingo to pajama parties to Christmas in July to the best breakfast before Sunday School, you never know what we will try next.  If you don't voice it, we can't try it.  Ideas are always welcome!  Come join us for a learning, good time.

Seniors Sunday School Class

This group is mainly made up of our seniors group of the church who range in their 60's to 80's, although anyone can come in and participate in this class as they are the friendliest bunch of folks that we have in the church. Their lesson follows the lectionary and is done in a mostly lecturing format. Mrs. Jean leads this group on the never ending journey of Biblical study.

What Would Jesus Do Today Class

This class takes the modern day issues and asks the question: what would Jesus do today? The answer is formed by scripture and is shaped by discussion of the group members. This class is very interactive and is represented by many age groups, therefore, offering different generational and cultural values. The class is quite interesting and is also the newest and largest class in the Sunday School program.  Mr. Ted makes sure that this group looks at all angles and possibilites and how to apply the teachings of the Bible.

Adult Sunday School Class

This group is currently studying the book of John. This group is mostly married couples whose children are either graduated from High School or their children are in High School.  Mr. Ray's group has an active discussion every Sunday.

**New College & Career Class**

We have a new college & career class being led by D.J & Angela Smith.  Come be a part of this learning experience for persons just out of high school or venturing into college.

 

Youth Class
 You never know what this class will be doing.  They perform all kinds of jobs for the church, study hard, are always involved in all of the modern topics.  Ms. Kristy always has something interesting for this group to study.  Come get involved in a big way! 
Eye Witness Group
 Although this is a small group, there is a lot of one on one study.  This group continues to learn the location of the scriptures and the application of these messages to their young lives.  Ms. Joy is right there in the middle of it all.
  
Bible Searchers, Ages 7-10
We will be exploring and getting to know the Bible. Grow, love and appreciate God's Love.  We will learn to become good disciples of Christ.  Ms. Kathy leads this group by example and you never know what they will craft in this class.
Little People, Ages 3-6
Don't let the name of this group fool you.  There is nothing about this group that does things in a "little" way.  They are only learning about the Bible and what worship is all about.  Don't forget "Little hands pray big prayers".  Ms. Tiffany guides this group on the beginning of their journey and performing God's work.
Nursey, Ages 0-2
Don't believe that this group is too small to learn.  Songs, play time and just basic child education is involved.  We welcome the addition of all God's new blessings to this group.
